About
K.P. Gillespie

Longtime reader,
first-time author
dad author photo.jfif

I've been a fan of mystery novels from before I could remember, but it must've started with the Hardy Boys & Nancy Drew. Growing up in Northeast Philadelphia, my favorite pastimes were bowling at Cottman Lanes, making home movies with my twin brother (and setting the garage on fire in the process), and of course, reading. I'm an avid movie watcher as well, with Alfred Hitchcock an one of my all-time favorite directors. (You should watch the Birds if you haven't yet.)

As an adult, my enthusiasm for reading grew, and I'll devour any mystery or thriller book you put in front of me! My favorites are Agatha Christie, Riley Sager, Ruth Ware, and Alice Feeney! But after reading so many, I naturally began to think..."Could I do this too?" And so you've found my secret passion project! My first novel Midnight at Eberly Manor is my first novel, and it's an amalgamation of all my great mystery/thriller loves, and I can't wait for you to read it!

Reviews

The story follows a brilliant rule-breaking prosecutor whose cleverness is matched only by the flair for theatrics of a vigilante judge. The line between fairness and vengeance blurs in Midnight at Eberly Manor, where justice isn’t blind—it’s personal. This mystery novel is a cerebral delight for readers who crave suspense and enjoy classic deduction games and trivia. The misdirection and revelation will leave you thinking long after the last chapter.

I was so excited to be one of Kevin's first readers.  I loved his novel.   It had a great pace, that kept me wanting to read.  I have always loved puzzles and playing games.  So, that theme was very entertaining.  The story kept me guessing and wondering which character was the victim and which one was the villain.
